19th August
Topic: THE VOICE OF MERCY
Text: Hebrews 12:24KJV
24- And to Jesus the mediator of the new
covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling,
that speaketh better things than that of
Abel.
Many things speak in life, some for good
and some for evil. Some example of things
that speaks are:
* SIN: The voice of sin speaks death for
anyone who is a partaker of it. Death is the
wages/reward for living a life of sin, so says
the scripture according to Romans 6:23
* DEVIL: Devil is evil, and so he can never
speak good things to any man born of a
woman. Devil speaks all manner of evil you
can ever think of, to lives of men either for
a just cause or not especially to God’s
children. Revelation 12:10 calls him “the
accuser of brethren”.
* BLOOD: There is life in the blood and so it
speaks. The blood of the innocent that are
shed often speaks for vengeance. In Genesis
4:9-10, the blood of Abel cried unto God
and surely it was crying for vengeance
against Cain his elder brother. But there is a
blood that speaks better things than all
mentioned above, that is the BLOOD of
JESUS as recorded in our text for today.
When the blood of Jesus speaks mercy, the
wages of sin will cease, the railing
accusation of the devil will disappear and
the blood crying for vengeance will be
silent.
Dearly beloved,cry to God for the voice of
mercy to speak into your situation today.

* Father, silent every voice of sin, devil and
blood speaking evil against me in Jesus
Name
* I receive mercy by the blood of Jesus into
my life in Jesus Name
