PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
26th November, 2024.
Topic: ‘… AS I WAS WITH MOSES. ‘ part 3
Text : Joshua 1:5.

5: There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

When God promises anyone his presence what does it mean? Moses’ experiences give the true picture of one who enjoys God’s presence.

In Exodus Chapter 2 Moses was brought to river Nile with zero assurance of the survival, certainly an Egyptian would have known he is one of the Hebrew boys, if the Egyptian that saw Moses first was Pharaoh’s loyalist obviously he would have been killed instantly.

The first proof of God’s presence upon Moses is the fact he was brought out at the right time, his very first outing was when Pharaoh’s daughter was coming to the river to bath. A man with God’s presence attracts favour.

Everyone recognizes God’s presence when he or she sees it, God’s presence certainly commands attention, peace, and favour. Pharaoh’s daughter could not ignore the presence of God on upon Moses.

She knew there is something special about the boy, she concluded that the boy is from a great deity in Egyptian called Hapi (Egyptians god of river Nile). She made that conclusion because she didn’t know the almighty God, she could only related her meeting with Moses as a divine arrangements.

No one carries God’s presence without God’s symbol upon his life, there is always a mark of distinction on everyone with God’s presence.

Let me show you a scripture Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness and unfettered eloquence of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned and untrained in the schools [common men with no educational advantages], they marveled; and they recognized that they had been with Jesus. Amplified.

Though the Apostles were without formal education their impact was indelible because of God’s presence upon there lives. let me shock you; a man with God’s presence can’t die untimely.

God made us in a manner that we can do little or nothing without him by our sides. Jesus speaking in John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Beloved, we need God to survive.

Wise people serve God, I mean almighty not idol, giving your life to Christ, join a bible believing Church, study your Bible, give God your time and devotion. God bless you.

PRAYER.
* Help me Lord to abide in you in Jesus name.
