PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
14th January, 2024
Topic: PRAISER OR MOCKER?
Text: 2nd Samuel 6:14-22KJV

14 And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.
15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
16 And as the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, Michal Saul’s daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart.

A praiser is the one who praises, while a mocker is the one who despises.

It is without doubt that God loves to be praised, no wonder John 4:23 states it clearly that the Father seeks true worshippers that will worship him in spirit and in truth. God does not only loved to be praised but he also loves to be where he is being praised, he loves to dwell in the very place where his praisers are, he loves to be in attendance while his praisers are praising him, that is why Psalms 22:3 says But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

God does not only loved to be praise neither does he only loved to dwell in the praises of his praisers, he also loves to reward his praisers for praising him. This is quite obvious and the reason is not far fetch.

God is rich in everything. Haggai 2:8 says The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. Ephesian 2:4 says God is rich in mercy. Now the praises of the praisers attract God’s attention and then he decides to visit them and because he decides to visit;
* He does not come alone, he comes with his heavenly entourage i.e The host of heaven
* He does not come empty handed, he comes with blessing and goodness
* And because he is pleased with the praises of the praisers he attends to the needs of the praisers.

If an earthly king can promise half of his Kingdom to grant his daughter’s request because he was pleased with her dance (Mark 6:22-23), how much more will God bless his praisers who pleases him in their praises.

Beloved, as you go into God’s presence today, register yourself as a praiser and not a mocker. Please him in your praises and you can be sure God can do the unimaginable for you as you worship him in spirit and in truth. God bless you

PRAYER:
* Father, from today, I register myself and your praiser and not a mocker in Jesus Name
