Topic: UNRAVELING THE MYSTERY OF WORSHIP. part 3.
Text: John 4:23,24.
23: But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Ignorance accounts for failures in life, the source through which you live your life determines your experience in life. I have always known as a little boy that a man’s life can be changed by adequate knowledge. A lot of people are informed but not with the right knowledge.
Even some Christians in church don’t know the efficacy of worship, some have seen it as regular routine.
It will shock you to hear that God only relates to our spirit, he touches every other area of our lives through our spirit. This is how it works, His Spirit touches your spirit and since your spirit is in your body you feel the impact of his touch.
Anytime he (God) wants to reach out to any man, he ministers to his spirit. Your blessings come from His Spirit through your spirit to your life.
So, when you worship you are simply getting your spirit ready to receive from God through His Spirit. Worship is the meeting point of your spirit and the Spirit of God, even in demonic world, initiation to cult is the point when the spirit of the person being initiated is meeting with demonic spirit.
Let me press a little further, some people say, ‘ I do whatever comes to my mind ‘, that’s absolutely wrong, because the mind of man is easily influenced by his experience and the things around him. Your thoughts emanates from your experience and circumstances around you.
It is best to live inside-out, how do I mean? Allowing the Holy Spirit to meet with your spirit in the secret place of worship (that includes prayer and study of God’s word: Bible). Your spirit then influence your mind based on what the Holy Spirit has dropped in it and since the source is the Spirit of God it can never fail. It may look absurd but it will never fail. You can be sure that the outcome will be great.
Don’t allow your life to be guided by your feelings, thoughts and ideas, all those emanate from the mind based on experience and circumstances, rather, allow the inspiration you get from the place of worship influence your mind to take right decisions which will lead to right actions and certainly you will get right results.
