PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
17th September, 2022.
Topic: MAKING ALLOWANCE FOR FAULTS.
Text: Ephesians 4:2.
2: Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.
Disappointment comes when we get the opposite of what we expect from people. Someone who you trusted suddenly acted in a manner you do not expect.
The imperfection of humanity makes friends, colleagues, relatives, lovers to hurt each other. Many good relationships have ended because many couldn’t apply our text.
Do you know that someone who hurts you today can be a blessing to you tomorrow? Before I press further let’s find answer to this question; What brings hurt? The circumstances around the person who hurts.
When a man is under pressure his words and actions will most likely hurt others. Some people don’t really mean the hurt they give others and eventually feel bad after they do.
Our text encourages us, believers, not unbelievers who have silenced their conscience, to give room for allowances. If you make allowances for offences ahead of time, you will feel less hurt. This will help you forgive others easily.
Make allowances for offences from your spouse, you aren’t married to an angel but human being made with flesh and blood who is prone to errors and mistakes. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* I receive grace to forgive others easily in Jesus name.
