PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
28th August 2022
Tope: COMPLETENESS.
Text: Ephesians 3:17-19.

17: Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.
18: And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.
19: May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

The study of God’s word is to make us who God wants us to be; discovering our state in the light of the scriptures is the first point of call while conformity to the word (bible) is the process of becoming who God wants us to be.

Some people don’t understand that God doesn’t just give us what we want, rather, he builds us to maturity where we become spiritually and emotionally sound to manage what he gives us.

Many people have lost precious things because of immaturity, so building up maturity through God’s word becomes absolutely important if his blessings must last in our hands.

If God gives us everything without taking us through the necessary process we are like a child who has access to his parents’ wealth without necessary education to manage it.

Apostle Paul’s aim when writing to the church in Ephesus is that they will become complete in God.

Verse 17 talks about being rooted in God’s love, that’s what happens when Christ makes his home in your heart, that’s at the point of giving your life to Christ.

Verse 18 talks about understanding the magnitude of God’s love. As we abide in Christ he reveals to us the things we ought to know about him.

Verse 19 will interest you, look at it here: May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Understanding God’s love, being rooted in it and living in it characterize the process of completeness. We eventually become complete with the fullness of life and power that comes from God. God bless you.
