Topic: OH! THAT MEN WOULD PRAISE THE LORD.
Text: Psalm 197: 5-9.
5: Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6: Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
7: And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8: Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9: For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
Glory to God who made us witness days of SPECTACULAR ACTS, a time to wait upon the Lord for 21 days in fasting and prayer.
It’s always a time of revival, refreshing, and dedication to the Lord I urge you to connect to what God is set to do by participating in fasting and prayer, I am persuaded that God will show up in your life in the name of Jesus.
This is day one and it’s usually declared A PRAISE DAY. Countless reasons to praise the Lord, our Bible passage enumerated some. The summary is in verse 8: Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men. The Psalmist put them together in one word ‘ goodness ‘ and two other words ‘ wonderful works ‘ . Let’s use the whole of today to Praise Him.
PRAISE.
* Sing a song of praise to the Lord.
* Thank you Lord for what you did through this program last year.
* Thank you for counting me worthy to witness this year’s days of SPECTACULAR ACTS.
* Thank you for what you’re set to do through this program.
* Thank you for open heaven upon this program.
* Take the glory for what you will do in our lives in Jesus name.
