Topic: REVELATION FOR TRANSFORMATION.
Text: Isaiah 6:1.
1: In the year that King Uzziah died, [in a vision] I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and the skirts of His train filled the [most holy part of the] temple. Amplified.
Many people thought king Uzziah’s existence prevented Isaiah from seeing the Lord, and so many have erroneously prayed in the past that every Uzziah in their lives should die, as if there is someone preventing them from seeing God.
No one can prevent you from having encounter with God, God is available to everyone who seeks him, Isaiah was only trying to make us know the year he saw the Lord, that the year he saw the Lord was the same year king Uzziah died.
It was possible Uzziah died before he saw the Lord or after he saw the Lord, but he saw the Lord the same year Uzziah died.
Encounter with God is a personal experience not to be determined by anyone around you, someone’s sin does not prevent you from having encounter with God. We have to choose individually either we want God or not.
God is available for anyone who desires him, look at this scripture Hebrews 11: 6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Everyone who seeks him finds him.
Your need to desire him before you encounter him, your heart must long after him, look at this Palms 42:1 As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.
There must be a desire before an encounter, a strong desire that will drive you to his presence. God bless you.

* My heart longs for you, oh Lord. I desire an encounter with you.
