Topic: FREEDOM FROM THE TASKMASTER.
Text: Exodus 5:17, 18.
17: But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the Lord.
18: Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks.
The Israelites demanded for a break from slavery to serve their God, but their taskmaster: Pharaoh increased their pains and affliction.
Like Pharaoh there are taskmasters who wouldn’t want God’s people to serve God in peace and harmony. Many times people go through temptations that shaken their faith, sometimes in form of challenges that make life unbearable for them.
Moses stood to declare God’s mandate over their lives which is freedom, but the enemy wouldn’t let them go except by a mighty hand.
HOW DOES TASKMASTER OPERATE?
Some people are ignorant of the devices of the devil, they don’t know when the enemy is at work, permit me to say this; whenever my mum shares her experiences; the things she has been through and circumstances surrounding my birth I listen attentively so that I can draw prayer points.
Here are some signs that will make you know the enemy is at work;
1, When you struggle hard for what others achieve easily.
2, When you encounter obstruction at the verge/point of breakthrough.
3, When evil occurrence follows good one.
4, When you’re about to grab something good and suddenly it left you.
5, When you aren’t happy even when good things occur in your life.
6, When you’re too stressed and stretched to achieve a breakthrough.
The taskmaster makes one appears lazy, incompetent and unproductive. You labour but it’s like you don’t.
The taskmaster can and should be dealt with the way Pharaoh was dealt with: he perished eventually.

PRAYER.
* I stop activities of the taskmasters in my life.
* I paralyze every force that stresses and stretches me.
* I receive power to breakthrough with ease in the name of Jesus.
