Topic: COUNSELS TO THE EPHESIANS. Part 5.
Text: Ephesians 1:7-8.
7: In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor,
8: Which He lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical insight and prudence), Amplified.
It is interesting to know that the Bible discusses every issue of human life. Not only spiritual, but also physical, marital and financial issues.
Paul told the Christians at Ephesus that God lavished the riches of his grace on us in every kind of wisdom and understanding; that’s practically all we need to get our lives right.
Lack of wisdom and understanding is the reason for backwardness, stagnancy and poverty in people’s life.
How do I mean? Let me come out this way; the reason we send our children to school is for them to get the best of knowledge and how to apply it, that is wisdom, which will eventually make them successful in life; so, God knowing that wisdom and understanding is all we require to be successful in life he lavished them on us through the riches of his grace.
Wisdom to take right decisions for our lives, wisdom to start and run a business successfully, wisdom to make money.
Wisdom is what you need to keep going forward in life. No matter the economic state of a nation a man with wisdom and understanding will keep moving forward Financially.
Your business can’t go down if this wisdom is in place.
The good news is that God is committed not just to giving us, but also to lavish it on us. Ask him for it, you surely get it.
PRAYER.
* Lord, I receive wisdom and understanding to live my life successfully in Jesus name.
