Topic: THE PLACE OF GLORY….Part 11
Text: Romans 8:18KJV
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
In part ten, we discussed the devil’s strategy to frustrate a man from his place of glory. Today as we round off on this series, its important we discuss about the ultimate place of glory.
The ultimate place of glory cannot be compared to anything here on the earth, it is the place of glory prepared by God for the saints in his kingdom.
Its a place of incomparable beauty as the scripture described it in Revelations 21:10-12
"And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:"
Its a city built and made by God according Hebrews 11:10. Its a place where there shall be no sorrow, pain and crying for God shall wipe away all tears according Rev 11:4
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
Its the place of eternal rest and the home of believers where the saints will forever reign with God till eternity
However, its a place where sin is not permitted, a place where no unclean thing or person shall enter there in according to Revelations 11:21
"And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life."
Beloved, the ultimate place of glory is a place worth sacrificing all for because the suffering of this present time are not worthy to be compare to the glory which shall be revealed there. Let nothing stop you from getting there just as Paul said "What shall separate us from the love of God?" God bless you
* Father, let nothing be strong enough to stop me from reigning with you in Jesus Name
