PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
28th April 2021
Topic: THE PLACE OF GLORY….Part 9
Text: Romans 8:18KJV

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

In part eight, we discussed that getting to the place of glory requires force. Today we want to discuss the time of glory.

Time is essential in the journey of life, even in the place of glory there is time for the manifestation of glory.

In Genesis 26, Isaac thought to relocate to Egypt because of famine in Gerar but God appeared to him to remain in Gerar that his blessings will come, his glory will manifest and as Isaac obeyed the instruction of God, he was greatly blessed even in the midst of famine such that he became an object of heavy in the land according to Genesis 26:12-14

“12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. 13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: 14 For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

Beloved, if Isaac has moved to Egypt from Gerar he would have miss the realm of glory God had prepared for him, it possibly would have been like moving from frying pan to fire but thank he sought God and was patient till his time of glory came.

Beloved, it is one thing to be where God want you to be (the place of glory), it is another thing to wait patiently on God for the time of the manifestation of glory. Many have shifted grounds because of the challenges they faced in the place of glory, many have doubted their conviction of the place of glory because they had seen not the glory manifested as God promised or as they had thought and so relocated else where before their time of glory came.

As i conclude this morning remember the scripture says in Ecclesiastes 3:1 &11a

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: He hath made every thing beautiful in his time:”

Wait patiently for your time of glory, because God makes all things beautiful in his time. God bless you

PRAYER:
* Father, help me to wait for my time of glory in Jesus Mighty Name.
