Topic: WHEN IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU TO BE LIMITED.
Text: 1 Corinthians 2:15.
15: But the spiritual man tries all things [he examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things], yet is himself to be put on trial and judged by no one [he can read the meaning of everything, but no one can properly discern or appraise or get an insight into him]. Amplified.
You probably might not have come across this scripture or you don’t understand it. The Bible is inspiring to everyone who gives time to study it.
Just as some factors are responsible for limitations and downfall of a man so also are factors responsible for the lifting of a man. I am sharing one of them here. You just look at our text here, what comes to your mind when you read?
You are probably shocked that there is a bible passage like this; understand that the scriptures are not meant to raise our emotions but to inspire us, no passage of the Bible is exaggerated.
This passage is saying while a spiritual man tries all things [he examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things], yet is himself to be put on trial and judged by no one. This sounds amazing, any wise man who understands this passage will give what it takes to be spiritual.
What does it mean to be spiritual? In the real sense of it we all are spirit beings, our bodies are just mere coverings, there are like cloths covering the spirit, you should understand that by now. The fact that the spirit of a man lives to face eternity while is body is dead buttresses my point here.
Being spiritual is simply activating the spirit while you live in the body. Many people do not give attention to their spirit, they are too concerned about the body and natural things. It takes spiritual consciousness to discern all things. The human sense can be deceived by well organized package, but not the spirit, what appears attractive to human eyes might be an ugly sight in the spirit. That’s the reason many pretty ladies with promising future have fallen into the hands of wicked men who look good outside.
If you want to achieve your dreams, get spiritual, meaning get your spirit alive. If you want to rise above limitations and battles in life get spiritual.
Getting spiritual starts with being born again, you must be born of the spirit if you want to discern right, your discernment will be wrong if you are not born again.
Getting spiritual involves being prayerful, that’s like waking up your spirit from slumber.
It also includes studying the word of God, that’s like feeding your spirit.
It is not complete if you cannot abstain from sin, it will be like feeding regularly without bathing. Abstinence from is synonymous to cleansing your spirit. God bless you.
