Prevailing Voice Daily 6th March 2021

Feb 14, 2022

6th March, 2021.
Text: Psalms 51:9.

9: Don’t keep looking at my sins. Remove the stain of my guilt. NLT.

I am starting another series of teaching that will be a blessing to many. Ensure you follow through to the end, it will birth transformation.

My first assignment here is to defined the word ‘ MISTAKE ‘, you can’t a word rightly until you get the true meaning.

Let me come out this way: the root word for the word ‘ mistake ‘ is ‘ take ‘, ‘ miss ‘ as in misunderstand, misinterpreted, misappropriate, mismanagement means wrongly. So, let’s write mistake as wrongly taken, therefore mistakes are decisions wrongly taken.

Look at the dictionary meaning here: a wrong action attributed to bad judgement, ignorance or inattention. Wrong actions are products of wrong decisions.

Mistakes often lead to regrets and losses. How can one handle the mistakes hurting one’s life?

I will just raise a point here and keep the rest for another day. Anyone who wants to correct his mistakes of the past must be ready to take necessary for steps to make right the wrongs.

Some people seek counsels but refuse to yield to them. Anyone who will make right his wrongs must be ready to seek counsels and follow in details the counsel.

Let me say here that regret and condemnation will not make things right, you must come out of condemnation and be ready to take the bull by its horns.

Your readiness to follow right counsels is the first step in making wrong right. Correcting your mistakes is seeking counsels to take decisions to nullify the wrong decisions you have taken in the past.

I need to stop here for now, I will continue in part 2. God bless you.

* Help me Lord to take right decisions.
