I took a break for the preparation of my book, it is a book you need to read. Someone challenged me as I take a walk around our church environment, he said, ‘ you are owing me something, I read your first book: Discovering Treasure through your Spirit-man, and I said I must read your next book ‘. Another person said, ‘ I must be at Pastor Yemi’s next book launch, he is a great writer ‘. All glory to God. PREVAILING VOICE DAILY has audience from more than 130 countries of the world.
The book will be launched on my birthday 5th of April, 2021. The content will transform lives.
Back to HANDLING MISTAKES: from our text, it is appears God made a mistake to have made man, but it isn’t so, there is no mistake in trying to have your lookalike, just as it is not a mistake to have children.
Those whose children turned wayward do not make mistake having them, rather the children chose their on way just as Adam and Eve did. Adam’s mistake is wrong decision to eat the forbidden fruit. It was a great mistake, please remember that mistake is defined as Mis take as in Misunderstood meaning wrongly understood, so, mistake is wrongly taken: decision wrongly taken.
Adam’s decision put the whole world in trouble, God’s intention was a trouble free world, a world without pains, without sickness, without poverty. It is great height of ignorance to think that God made this world a place of suffering, in Genesis 1:31 God assessed his works, look at his comments here: And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day, but before Chapter 6 of Genesis Adam and Eve had made a mess of the world.
Remember that he chased them out of Eden, he chased them to a world of pains and struggles, yet he wouldn’t watch his work got spoilt, he needed to correct the mistake of our first parents.
God considered the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus as the correction to the mistake of Adam. It is for this purpose Jesus came and that will lead me to a another series of teaching ‘ THE INTENT OF HIS CRUCIFIXION ‘. It will definitely transform lives.
Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour is the number step of embracing God’s correction for the mistake of Adam. God bless you.
* Jesus have your way in my life.
