Topic: ENGAGING YOUR MIND.
Text: Roman 12:2.
2: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Sometimes, when we ask God for help out of problems he expects us to use our mind.
It is important you get the right picture of how problems are solved, it is a trained mind that solves problems. A good lawyer can get his client out of a serious case because he is trained to do so, opening up a patient to perform surgical operation is not a problem for a surgeon, making money with or without capital is not a problem for a businessman. It is so because each of them has been trained in his field of endeavors.
The problem a doctor will easily solve is impossible by a lawyer, while a lawyer handles serious cases by taking advantage of the provisions of the law, such is a great challenge for an engineer. This is because each one’s mind has been trained and engaged in line of their field of endeavors.
When people say, ‘ experience is the best teacher ‘, this is the interpretation: when you go through things your mind is trained either you overcome the challenge or not. You can always handle the situation better when next it occurs because your mind has been trained through the challenge, you can even counsel anyone who has similar situation.
To solve problems you need to engage your mind in line with the knowledge you have acquired. If you have no knowledge about the matter seek knowledge in that line.
Application of wisdom through the mind brings solutions to problems. See the dictionary meaning of wisdom: ability to apply knowledge, experience, understanding or common sense and insight. Wisdom resides in the mind. No wonder the bibles in Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Every problem has solution and the solution is delivered by enriching your mind with required knowledge and engaging your it by applying required knowledge to solve the problem.
