Topic: HANDLING MISTAKES …part 6
Text : Philippians 3:13.
13: Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.
This series has been a blessing. Let’s press on as the Holy Spirit helps me to bring to light mysteries necessary for our progress and lifting in life.
Remember that I defined Mistake as MIS TAKE as in misinformed meaning wrongly informed. So, Mistake means wrongly taken; decision wrongly taken.
The damages of the past, losses, stagnancy in life, lack of money, inability to breakthrough or prosper are most likely products of decisions wrongly taken.
Many times you think about the past, and you say to yourself, ‘ if it is possible I go back to the past, I will take better decisions ‘. Dwelling in the past will have adverse effect on the present, dwelling in the past will lead to further mistakes, your decisions to move forward is the way up.
Just like Apostle Paul in our passage let’s reach forth to things which are before us. Every new day holds new things, get up and take wise decisions that will move your life forward.
You can’t fail like before, you can’t lose like before, you are wiser now. Just reach forth with courage with hope and aspirations that great things lie ahead of you.
Decide to succeed, get up and be strong, there is nothing wrong with you, only that your decisions were wrong in the past, this time around trust God to help you make wise decisions.
Dwelling on your mistakes of the past will keep you in the past. You are made to shine, God didn’t make you to disgrace you, you are a light and you will shine.
As you beginning to take right decisions your life will get right again.
