Topic: THE PLACE OF GLORY….Part 2
Text: Romans 8:18KJV
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
In Part one, we discussed that a man’s location in life is very relevant to what he gets in life, we did said some men experience glory in life while some others may experience shame but i pray that for you there shall be no shame in your life in Jesus Name.
Today we want to discuss a little further on the place of glory. The place of glory is a place of:
* Light: Glory is synonymous to light in that it shines just as light shines and everyone can see it shining, glory can radiates from a person just as light radiates from an object to give illumination, glory can also reflect just as light reflects, therefore the place of glory is that place where the light of God shines upon you, it is also that place where your light shines just as it is written in Matthew 5:16 saying
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven"
* Fulfilment: When glory manifests, fulfilment comes, but where glory is absent such a life cannot be fulfilled. In other words glory is associated with the fulfilment of destiny, therefore the place of glory can be called the place of destiny fulfilment. The Israelites dwelt so long in Egypt for about 400 years, as long as they were in Egypt they were never fulfilled because they were in bondage but as they got to the promise land the promises God made concerning them from their Fathers, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob began to come to fulfilment.
* Blessings: The place of glory is the place where a man’s labour is continually blessed. It is the place where labour is highly rewarded, the place of no labour loss, the place where little effort yields great reward, the place where one is overshadowed by all round favour from God and men. Just like the scripture says in Obadiah 1:17
"But upon mount Zion (a place of glory) shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions (blessings)."
Beloved, pray earnestly that God take you to your place of glory.
PRAYER:
* Father, take by my hand and lead me to my place of glory in life in Jesus Name.
