Topic: GRACE FOR THE RACE….Part 3
Text: Ephesians 2:8-9KJV
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
In part 2, we discussed the need for special kind of strength i.e The Supernatural Strength to run the race of this year.
Today we want to discuss about activating the grace for the race.
From our scriptural text above, grace is activated through faith. The question then is what is faith?
Faith is absolute trust in God. The word absolute trust means total reliance, complete dependance without any other alternative. Your total trust in God, releases his grace upon your life. Proverbs 3:5-6 says
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Faith is believe in God’s word. The words of God are words of grace, if a man can believe what God said in the scriptures the grace of God embbeded in that word is released. Faith is believing that God will do everything he has said or written concerning you, 2nd Chronicles 20;20b butress this saying
“Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”
Beloved, grace to run through, to finish strong and win the race is available but you need faith to activate and to sustain it to the very end. Let your faith come alive, trust absolutely in God and his grace will sustain your even in the midst of challenges. God bless you
