Topic: THE COMPASS FOR 2021…part 5
Text: Luke 5:5,6.
5: And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6: And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
This is a specific message for someone, God instructed me to speak against hard labour in someone’s life.
Simon Peter and company were experts in catching fishes, but at this time they failed in every attempt to catch fish in spite of all expertises they had as fishermen.
See knowledge, expertises, skills, intelligence are needed to make it in business or at work place, but sometimes fail in the face of challenges. What works does not always work except the word of God.
This bible passage attests to the point I am making here: Ecclesiastes 9:11 I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time. NLT.
It takes obedience to divine instruction to be at the right place at the right time.
It is only divine instruction that will and can never fail, Peter and company had exhausted all skills they had about fishing, they were to wash their nets and go home when divine instruction came.
This message is for someone who had got skills, certificates, sought knowledge and yet going through hard labour fruitlessly, what you need is not another certificate, but divine instruction, that doesn’t stop you from studying further.
Your skills, expertises, certificates add value when you use them in line with divine instruction, even if the instruction you get has nothing to do with the certificates you obtained in school please, choose divine instruction above your certificate.
If you’re truly sincere about hearing from God, he will definitely direct you, I trust him, I am talking from experience. This is my secret in business, obeying DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS.
