3: Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. NLT.
HAPPY NEW YEAR once again, it is our year of unprecedented glory. Seconds started counting into minutes, minutes into hours, hours into days from 12am 1st January, 2021. The year has begun, many plans in everyone’s mind.
Our text gives a vital information about our lives, verse one is explicit enough to understand; We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer.
Planning is good, in fact, everyone of us ought to plan, but it is God who gives the right answer. If the answer to my plans and efforts is in God’s hand then I have no choice than to stay close to him.
It is not an option to abide with God rather a mandate if we must do well in life. The reason is not far fetch, it is simply because he is the one who gives right answer.
The best plans will fail without the consent of God. Strategies failed in 2020, great countries with good medical facilities experience health breakdown, because it is only God who has right answer to every situation.
Let me give you an illustration you can relate with: if I know a man who can help me achieve my dreams, I need no one to tell me to stay close to him. If we will have right answers to our plans we must stay close to God.
So many people’s plans will fail, brilliant ideas may not work, strategies may also not work, but anyone who stays close to God will get right answer. God bless you.

* Help me Lord to stay close to you this year and forever in Jesus name.
