PREVAILING VOICE DAILY

Topic: NOT WILLING TO SERVE…Part 4
Text: Matthew 15:8-9KJV

8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”

In part 3, we discussed that God is ever willing and ready to bless those who are willing to serve him and do his will. Today we want discuss some reasons why God may not bless those who are not willing to serve him

* God Blesses For His Purpose: God is not a waster, and so would not bless anyone who would waste his resources or would not use it for his purpose. Whatever God releases into a man’s life is for that man to use it for his purpose, so a man who is not willing to fulfil God’s purpose may never receive any blessing from God. Now what are the purpose for which God will release his blessing;

1) To Glorify God: This is the primary purpose for which God blesses and will bless his children, and its a very important stage or step into God’s overflowing blessing that one must pass through. You must understand that whatever God gives is for his glory just as Revelation 4:11 says that God made all things for his pleasure, so likewise whatever blessing he releases is for his glory, so anyone who will not glorify God may not receive his blessings

2) For His Service: This is the secondary purpose for which God blesses his children. God’s service is very paramount in his heart, and so he would release his blessings to that person who is willing to serve him with whatever God has given him. It is one thing to be willing to serve God, its another thing to be willing to serve God with what you have. God will bless that man that is willing to serve God with his resources, such is the man that qualifies for the blessings of God, but a man who is not willing to serve God is not qualified and may never receive God’s blessings.

Beloved, as you serve God, he blesses you. Are you willing to serve God? Think on this things…. God bless you

PRAYER:
* Father, give me the heart of service unto you in Jesus Name
