PREVAILING VOICE DAILY

Topic: THIS YEAR MAY NOT END.
Text: Matthew 24: 36: 39.
36: But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37: But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38: For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39: And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Life seems to be going on normal as if the Earth will always remain, that was how it was in the days of Noah before the flood. They thought things will always be the same. The people before the flood were partying and merrying until the flood came.
Our text affirms that the coming of the Lord will be like the days of Noah, the flood caught them unawares, they thought they will witness another year, Noah was sounding foolish to them.
The people before the flood were like ‘ how can God destroy the world with water ‘? It sounded absurd to them, just like some people believe that God won’t end this world.
This present generation is liken to the generation before the flood, they were celebrating and marrying, there were different kinds of dance like we have different kinds of dance in our days. They were celebrating abominable things like people do in our days today, the flood came and swept them away.
Jesus is the author of our passage, and he was not speaking in parables, he was giving Prophesies about what will happen.
The trumpet can sound before this year ends, don’t be careless with your soul, only God holds the timetable of this world, he can decide to end it today.
How prepare are you to face your maker if God ends the world today or ends your life? The truth is that we will not always be here. Be wise, give your life to Christ and abstain from sin.

* Help me Lord not to lose my soul to hell in Jesus name.
