Topic: THE BLESSING OF EACH DAY…part 2
Text: Matthew 6:11
11: Give us this day our daily bread.
If you see God as a father your walk with him will be easy. I remember how my father did share money every morning to us, 9 of us. He did share plenty notes share every morning, to be left with just few notes. He was simply playing his role as a father, and our duty is to dress up and go to him for money we will need in school.
In like manner, even much more, God is committed to taking care of his children. Get ready for each by praying, trusting God for your bread for each day.
DOES GOD ACTUALLY GIVE US OUR DAILY BREAD? Yes, he does, but not as manna dropped for the Israelites in the wilderness Exodus 16:15, rather he releases grace for provision for each day.
Many think God answers prayer occasionally, some think it is until they organized 7 days fasting and prayer, no sir/ma, God carries us everyday look at Psalms 68:19 in New Living Translation Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. What a scripture! The Bible is interesting, I pity those who don’t study and obey it content. Let me explain this in literal terms; it means God carries us like a baby in his arms daily, not once in a year, not once in a month, not once in a week. Note the phrase ‘ each day’ in the verse. That is how God carries us.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY DAILY BREAD FROM GOD?
I shared about my father earlier to paint the right picture in your mind. Our responsibility is to go to him and say, ‘ I am set for school sir ‘, there must be communication, I must greet him first before doing anything and then go to prepare. We are as God’s children are to greet him with our praises and prayer every morning.
As we approach his throne early in the morning we access grace that will make provision for our daily bread.
Please understand that your blessing is not outside, but in his presence, do not rush out without first approaching his throne. The grace we receive in his presence before stepping out each day delivers the blessings of each day to us.
Praying-through preceeds Breakthrough. You can’t get the favour of men until God show you favour (grace, you receive in his presence).
When we fast we access great grace, it is another day to fast and pray, approach his throne for great grace today.
* Ask him for grace for provision.
