Topic: WHEN MERCY SPEAKS…Part 3

15 he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion

Mercy is compassion or forgiveness shown towards someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm. Mercy does have a voice and mercy also speaks.

In part two, we said the authority with which mercy speaks over judgement is from the blood of Jesus Christ, that is mercy prevails over any life when the blood of Jesus speaks. Today we want to discuss another source of power with which mercy speaks.

The authority with which mercy speaks over judgement also comes from the mouth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In Mark 2:10-12

“But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.”

The man sick of palsy was held bound by the judgement of sin, and when his friends brought him to Jesus, Jesus saw their faith, and spoke that his sins were forgiven that he should rise up from the sickness. As Jesus spoke, judgement of sin over the man’s life ceased, mercy prevailed and his sickness was taken away, so mercy receives power over judgement when Jesus speaks

Also In Luke 23:40-43,

“But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

The thief on the left hand side of Jesus on the cross, spoke in defence for Jesus when the other thief on the right hand side mocked Jesus, after that, the thief who spoke in defence for Jesus Christ said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come into thy kingdom, and Jesus spoke that truly that same night the thief would be with him in paradise. That thief was condemned to death by men already, his eternal damnation and condemnation await him in hell, but when Jesus spoke, mercy took over the impending judgement of hell over his life, when Jesus spoke, judgement of hell lost his hold over that thief.

Dearly beloved, If there is a judgement roaming over your life, home and business, it will be wise to run to the Lord Jesus Christ today, because when he speaks judgement will cease and mercy will prevail. I decree that the Lord will speak against every judgement roaming over your life today in Jesus Name.

PRAYER:
* Lord Jesus, speak into my life today and let every judgement over life be terminated.
