Topic: UNDERSTANDING REVELATIONS…part 4.
Text: 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.
9: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10: But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
The human eyes cannot see what God is set to do at any given time, that’s the reason men make mistakes in their choices most times. What appears ugly to the human eyes might be blessing in disguise while the thing that appears pleasant are sometimes snare to man.
From our passage something is certain about those who love God, God has great plans for them that eyes have not seen nor ears heard, the only means by which God made them known is through revelation.
Revelation is God’s way of communicating his mind to us.
* Relevation brings illumination.
* Revelation gives direction.
* Revelation unveils hidden treasures.
* Revelation eliminates confusion.
* Revelation eradicates deception.
* Revelation unravels mysteries.
* Revelation brings elevation.
When God reveals secrets about your life and great things he is set to do you are definitely on way to fulfilling your destiny.
It is light in every darkness, it is a picture of hope in hopelessness, it shows solutions to problems, it is the pathway of prosperous for the poor.
Life becomes a mystery without revelation. Revelation through God’s word, through messages, through prayer, vision and prophecy.
Revelation brings divine lifting. Joy and hope fill your heart when you know what you suppose to know.
Let me close here with this scripture Luke 19:41-42
41: And as He approached, He saw the city, and He wept [audibly] over it,
42: Exclaiming, Would that you had known personally, even at least in this your day, the things that make for peace (for freedom from all the distresses that are experienced as the result of sin and upon which your peace—your security, safety, prosperity, and happiness—depends)! But now they are hidden from your eyes. Amplified. What a scripture!
This is the second place Jesus wept in the Bible, he wept at Lazarus grave and here because the people lack revelation of the things they ought to know. I pray that vital scriptural information about life will not be hidden from you in Jesus name.
PRAYER.
* Lord reveal what I ought to know in Jesus name.
