Topic: WHEN THERE IS NO ONE…Part 4
Text: John 5:5-8KJV

5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

In life no man is an island, everyone at one point or the other needs help from someone else. We are important to each other, we are created to complement one another, God made us to be of help to one another, the rich are there to help the poor, the strong are there to help the weak, those healthy are meant to help the sick.

But there are times when it appears there is no one available to help, a similar situation to the man in our scriptural text above, at such time what can one do?

As we conclude on this series today, among many things discussed in part three that one can do when there is no one to help, one major thing that can be done is to call upon God for help. Psalm 46:1 says

Mobile Category

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

There is no doubt that God is the very present help in times of trouble and in times of need. Now Romans 10:13-14a says

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?”

When there is no one to help, you need to call upon God for your help and your salvation, because whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Don’t keep quite, don’t die in silence because divine help can be available for you, let heavens hear your voice, let your cry ascend to your Maker to help you.

In addition as stated in the above scripture, you need to know God, because you cannot call whom you don not know. So you need to know God, you must be identified with him so that you can be bold like Jabez to call upon God for help and he will help you

Hebrews 4:16 says

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. “

So knowing God gives you boldness to come to the throne of grace when there is no one to help.

As we conclude, beloved accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today, call upon him and he will save you even when there is no one to help. God bless you
