PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
8th August, 2020.
Topic: MARITAL BLESSINGS.
Text: Genesis 1:28.
28: And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth. Amplified.
Human beings are God’s handiwork, and just as every man wants his work blessed God blesses his work also. He made pronouncement of blessings upon us.
As you want your work to be fruitful, so is God, if we are his handiwork, he wants us blessed, in fact, we are blessed.
After God flooded the Earth with water he spared Noah and his family, it occurs to me like God was starting afresh, in fact, the same pronouncement he made on Adam and Eve he made on Noah, look at it in Genesis 9:1 And God pronounced a blessing upon Noah and his sons and said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. Amplified.
This is a proof that God is interested in our blessings and multiplication, we are not meant to bring up a struggling or poor family, he pronounces his blessings on our home. We are blessed as individuals and families.
We are to live in the reality of these blessings. It is important you know that God don’t speak for the funny of it, his words are settled, he does what he says.
Building up prosperous homes is God’s plan and expectation for our lives. We come under the pronouncement of his blessings: fruitfulness and multiplication.
Let me buttress this with another scripture: Isaiah 51:1 Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
2: Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
Can you see the blessings here also for Abraham?
Verse 3 has a message for people of Zion of which we are included, look at it here: For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
What a Scripture! The bible contains precious blessings, I have found it over the years interesting. I wish time will permit me to explain verse 3, maybe some other time, let me pick a line here; her desert Shall become the garden of the Lord, that’s talking about beautiful Eden.
Let me put it this way for better understanding; your deserted life shall be like beautiful Eden. Our lives and families shall be like Eden, that was the place God made the pronouncement on our first parents.
Everyone in Zion has this covenant hanging upon his or her life. If you’re born again, I am sure you have the covenant on your life.
The consciousness of this understandsing brightens your life and family forever. You must understand and believe that your family and you have been pronounced blessed by God. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* I will be fruitful in all endeavors
* I will multiply in Jesus name.
