PREVAILING VOICE DAILY.
7th August 2020.
Topic: THIS WORLD IS OLD ENOUGH
Text: Revelation 21:1.

1: Then I saw a new sky (heaven) and a new earth, for the former sky and the former earth had passed away (vanished), and there no longer existed any sea. Amplified.

Like cloth this world wears and tears, it is fallacious to believe that this world will get better or to think we will always be here. 1 John 2:16 buttresses my point here;
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Enjoyment here is for a while when compares to eternity. Any time we do a flashback of our yesteryears, say 20 years ago, it appears like last year, that is the definition of the brevity of our timing in this world.

The events in this world in recent time give signals to the fact the world is wearing out. Some days activities in this world will be rounded off. God is making another world for those who will live right and holy.

Our text talks about another world, Revelation 21 described the new world in details. Missing the new world is missing out in eternity. That is the greatest calamity that can befall a man.

It is absolutely important we prepare for the new world, all the signs Jesus mentioned in the Matthew 24 as signs of the end have come to past, it is a clear indication that the end is near, but not the end of life because the human soul does not die. We all will awake to another world as though we were asleep some unto everlasting pains and contempt and others unto everlasting life. Daniel 12:2 confirms this: And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

It is precarious, dangerous, to die without preparing for the new world. The greatest risk a man can take is the risk of losing his soul to hell.

Several sermons about your soul are meant to bring you to the consciousness of readiness for eternity.

If you miss heaven you will cry. Living in the worst part of the Earth is better than going to hell. The poorest man on Earth is better than a rich man who ends up in hell. One day in hell will erode the pleasant memories of one hundred years of pleasure.

This world is old enough to be destroyed. Get ready. God bless you.

PRAYER.
* I forsake every sin Lord.
* I receive grace to live holy.
