PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
27th July, 2020.
Topic: GOD’S RESPONSIBILITY IN HARD TIMES.
Topic: Psalms 34:9,10.
9; O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
10: The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
Famine is common in bible days and in contemporary time. The pandemic has brought lack in many homes, several businesses are suffering and workers losing their jobs.
Famine is one of the characteristics of this Earth, as long as we live on Earth some things will always remind us that we are not in heaven yet, one of the them is the pandemic. The only challenges free zone is heaven, I pray you will not miss it.
As long as we live in this world challenges show face, but God is committed to bringing us out of them. One of the scriptures that can never leave me is Psalms 46:1 God is our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble. Amplified.
In this period of lack he is absolutely committed to taking care of his people, our text testifies to this, look at verse 9 of Psalms 34 in New Living Translation, it engulfs my spirit, soul and body, this is it; Fear the Lord, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. What a Scripture?
God knows about the lack, financial harassment, the unpaid bills, unpaid rent, the deadlines to meet, the challenges of the present time, and he is committed to those who fear him.
He releases his grace to cover the suppose disgrace and shame.
God told me, ‘ as long as you carry my grace, you shall not be disgrace ‘, and he has been committed to his word. I have seen him replace my shame with glory. This grace is available for all who fear him, grace covers what money cannot do. Money fails sometimes, but grace never.
As you access his grace be rest assured that you shall not be put to shame, it does not matter even if you source of income is affected as long as grace is available there will be no room for disgrace.
Sometimes it looks like you are close to disgrace, but certainly grace takes you far from it. You shall not be shamed, God will meet your needs in Jesus name.
* My God shall supply all my needs in Jesus name
