Topic: YOU SHALL SEE GREATER THINGS..part 3
Text : John 1:50,51.
50: Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.
51: And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
I need to share how this relates to our families, let’s look at these scriptures together:
Jeremiah 30:19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
When the heaven of a family is open it will be obvious in the lives of the family members, keeping the heaven open over your family is my focus here. Some people go for family libration, of course, I am not against that if it is at the right place, but far more than family libration, family open heaven is necessary.
Verse 19 of Jeremiah 30 talks about the good things God does in family whose heavens are open.
* THANKSGIVING not sorrowful thinking
* MERRINESS not mourning.
* MULTIPLICATION not miscarriage or bareness.
* GLORIFICATION not gloomy. These are what God does for his people, and that is our portion in Jesus name .
Look at verse 20: And their prince will be one of them, and their ruler will come from the midst of them. I will cause him to draw near and he will approach Me, for who is he who would have the boldness and would dare [on his own initiative] to approach Me? says the Lord. Amplified.
This talks about rulers proceeding from our families, we shall no longer be ruled by strangers, our children shall be on top not beneath.
God is committed to his words if only we can give what it takes to keep the heavens upon over our families. God bless you.

* Let heaven be opened upon my family in Jesus name.
