Topic: YOU SHALL SEE GREATER THINGS.
Text: John 1:50,51.
50: Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.
51: And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
There is a depth in God which no one has attained. No one has see the best of God, no one has enjoyed God the most, though he changes not, yet he appears greater in matters and issues around our lives.
The closer we are to him the more of his greatness we experience. Jesus said to Nathaniel in our text, ‘ you shall see greater things…you shall see heaven open…’ great works are products of open heaven, that is, when heavens are open great works become the order of the day.
Persistent prayer is one of the prerequisites for open heaven. When we pray God responds by opening the heaven. God told me, ‘ as you pray you will prevail ‘, that is how we came about PREVAILING FAMILY.
Jesus spoke in Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. It is in the light of this we won’t allow what God has started through 20 DAYS OF SPECTACULAR ACTS to stop half way, we have organized prayer for every Wednesday night and last day of every month 11.30pm-12.10am Nigeria/UK time
5.50-6-10pm US time. And on Sundays 7-8pm Nigeria/UK time. 1-2pm US time. You can be sure of God’s presence, and as he visits us our lives we will not remain the same.
PRAYER.
* Lord, let my heaven he open.
* Let me see greater things in Jesus name.
