Text: 1 Corinthians 12:7-10KJV
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
There are nine gifts of the Holy Spirit which are paramount for every child of God to live a successful life and lead a successful ministry. The impact of the Holy Spirit in our everyday life cannot be over emphasized. The dealings of the Holy Spirit cannot be exhausted, however a few of them according to the nine gifts are:
- The Holy Spirit empowers through the gift of faith, healing and working of miracles
- The Holy Spirit gives utterance through the gift of speaking in tongues, Interpretation of tongues and discernment of spirit
- The Holy Spirit gives revealation through word of wisdom, word of knowledge and gift of prophecy.
Beloved, covet earnestly these gifts as we wait upon the Lord in prayer and fasting.
PRAYER
* Father thank you for the gifts of the Holy Spirit
* Lord I covet earnestly the gifts of the Holy Spirit, let there be an outpouring upon me today
* Lord I receive power to do exploits for your kingdom in the name of Jesus
* I receive faith to move every mountain in my life in Jesus Name
* Lord I open my spiritual eye to see what you have in store for me
* Lord baptize me with your Spirit and let me be on fire for you
* I receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit to excel where I have failed in the past
* Oh Lord, send down the rain of your Spirit upon my life, career and ministry
* Holy Spirit come upon me today and grant me speed to cover every lost grounds in Jesus Name
