PREVAILING VOICE DAILY

Topic: I WILL ARISE .. part 7
Text: Luke 15:13-16.
13: “A few days later this younger son packed all his belongings and moved to a distant land, and there he wasted all his money in wild living.
14: About the time his money ran out, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve.
15: He persuaded a local farmer to hire him, and the man sent him into his fields to feed the pigs.
16: The young man became so hungry that even the pods he was feeding the pigs looked good to him. But no one gave him anything. NLT.
Great lessons to learn from this parable, they are also suitable to apply to our lives. The prodigal son was living in affluence, wealth, he had possessions readily available for him. He had servants, cattles and other valuables at his watch.
His decision to live as a big boy brought him low, he was brought to zero level, his case was pathetic, in verse 16 he was desiring to be fed with the pig’s food, but no one gave him. That is the height of poverty anyone could attain. He was at the zero level of his life.
The fact that he was not allowed to eat swine’s food should have led him to frustration and depression, it is at that state that many people take wrong decisions, he could have thought of robbery or fraud. Some other persons in his state would have thought of suicide, he could have decide to continue to manage the situation and die in that terrible state.
His ability to rise when he fell is the first lesson to learn here. Many fell and they never rose again, not because God does not want them to rise, but because of their inability to take right decisions.
Many great destinies have been brought low and never rose again because of their inability to take decisions that will enhance their lifting.
Please understand and always remember that you are a stakeholder in the making of your life and destiny. Some people think God will just remote us to become anything he wants us to be, that’s not true, God’s desire for us is always the best, but he didn’t make us as robots who have no mind to take decisions.
Man has will power, his will and decision determine the direction of his life. For instance: I could have decided not to be a pastor, I could have chosen to be a worldly musician, and God wouldn’t kill me for that, but it would have been destiny diverted by my decision.
I have good news for you today, you can rise again no matter how low you have gone in life. Can I shock you? God is stretching his hand to lift you up, but you have to be prepared to rise again and take decision in that direction.
You will rise again in life, your business will rise again, you will rise again in your career, your marriage will work again, whatever you have lost will be restored in Jesus name, your glory is rising again, just take decision in the upward direction. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* I receive grace to rise again.
* My business will rise again.
* My glory will shine again in Jesus name.
