Text: Psalms 34:1-3KJV
1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
Life on earth is a function of time, and so we can say that life is time and time is life. In other words, life can be measured in a space of time. As humans we usually set in our hearts, conditions and pre-requisites for us to praise God, I mean when things are down we don’t feel like praising God, when things are rough and tough, our hearts just don’t flow in the direction of praise to God but rather in the direction of complains, sorrows and sadness. But when things are good, smooth and rosy we find it more convenient to praise God, our body, soul and spirit is elated and ready to give praise to God.
From our scriptural text above, the Psalmist is emphasizing the condition to praise God and that is AT ALL TIMES, meaning irrespective of the time you are in life, you just must praise God. Whether the times are good, bad, convenient or inconvenient, the praise of God must be in your mouth and in your heart. Truth be told, that naturally your being may not flow in the line of praise to God when times are tough but you have got to train your heart and body to do so, just as a sick patient usually loses appetite to food but then he trains himself to eat because he knows that is a condition to his quick recovery and healing, in like manner, you must train your heart, soul, spirit and body to praise God at all times especially when times are tough because there in lies your victory and success.
Therefore, beloved, like the Psalmist, bless God at all times and let his praise continually be in your mouth. God bless you

* Father, let your fountain of praise flows from me everyday of my life in Jesus Name.
