8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty
Times of life are in three phases, which are the past, the present and the future. Experiences in life with reference to these three phases are often different because of many factors involved.
Though times changes and experiences of life varies with the changing times yet God remains the same today as he was in times past. God is God always.
* God can do it again and again: Whatever you have read or heard that God did in the days of old, he can do it again and again. It means every miracle that God has done in the past, he can do them again even today. Just as he produced a new wine at the marriage in Cana of Galilee in John 2, he is still very much in the business of giving a new wine to lives, homes and marriage where their old wine has finished or gone sour. Just as he saved the condemned thief on his left hand side on the cross and took him to paradise, he very much can still save any sinner who repent and accept his offer of salvation. Just as he delivered Israel by his mighty acts from the land of Egypt, he can still very much today deliver his children from their enemy. Beloved, whatsoever thing God has done in time past, he can do them again and again in this present time
* God does not change: God was God in time past as God is God today, he has not change, he cannot change. Hebrews 13:8 said he is the same yesterday, today and forever. Though times may change and events unfold but God does not change, he is still the same God as we read in the scriptures. What this implies is that his ways do not change, his words do not change, his judgements do not change his love, mercy and anger also so do not change. It means the wages of sin as said in the scripture is still death and the free gift of God is still eternal life through Jesus (Romans 6:23). It means except a man is born again he will not see the kingdom of God (John 3:3). It means the foundation of God stands sure, having a seal that God knows those who are his and that everyone that bears God’s name should depart from iniquity (2 Timothy 2:19).
Beloved, God is God today as he was in the past, the lessons to learn from this message is to fear him and trust him. Trust him to bring to pass every of his promises to you, that whatever he says, he can do again and again, then fear him so as not to fall into his judgement, because like David said in Hebrews 10:31 that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. God bless you.

* Father, the ever present help in times of trouble, come for my help today in Jesus Name.
