Topic: LET IT SHINE.
Text : Matthew 5:14-16.

14: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15: No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.
16: In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. NLT

God releases us as light to shine forth in this dark world. Light makes a difference in any environment, one cannot do much in an environment that does not have light, activities will be limited, there is no excitement in a dark environment.

Verse 14 of Chapter confirms that every child of God is made as light to extinct darkness, your shining is what heaven is concern about, no worries about darkness when light can be supplied.

God is aware of the evil in this world so, he likened it to darkness and expects that with his light in us we put out darkness.

The shinning is our assignment, this is what it means: as light takes it glory in the dark, in this dark world as our light shines we bring glory to God.

Let me put it this way: just as light looks for darkness to displace, so also God expects us to solve problems through his light in us. As light is not scared of darkness, but displaces it so also are we expected to bring solutions to problems.

You shouldn’t wait until all your needs are met before you allow your light to shine, as you shed light in other people’s life your needs will be met.

As we carry out this divine assignment; bringing forth solutions to spiritual, physical and finnancial problems we bring God glory, and in the course of doing that our needs will be met. God bless you.
