PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
27th May, 2020.
Topic: LIFE’S LIGHT series part 5.
Text: Habakkuk 2:1
1: I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
If you have been following the series of teaching you will agree with me that it has been inspiring. Glory to God who sheds light in our spirit.
The focus here is WAITING FOR LIGHT, in other words, waiting for guidance.
Understand that God is willing to speak to you as a father speaks to his children. Adam and Eve were the best companions of God in the garden of Eden, God made them for relationship purpose.
Though God is a spirit yet he communicates with humans, let me put it this way; God is calling for your relationship, interaction, fellowship, intimacy. Some people feel God is too busy to have their time, that isn’t true, he wants you, he wants to guide you, speak with you, teach you the way you should go.
Can I shock you? As you are pondering over how to make it in life, God is waiting for you come for answers. Look at this scripture: Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. This is a clear word from God and he is committed to it. There are many things you won’t know about yourself until you come to him.
It is the knowledge about you that will make you, if you don’t know who you are, what is packaged for you, the steps to take in life, you will continually live in frustration. Waiting upon the Lord for instructions is the only way out frustration. Everyone who receives instructions from his mouth and follow suit gets his or her mouth filled with testimonies.
You see sometimes we really do not know that our miracles are close, we travel far only to find out that we really didn’t have to have gone far. It is like you searching for a pin in a dark room, like looking for a coin when there is black out, like looking for a child amidst crowd. Waiting upon the Lord for direction is the simple solution to all problems.
Many times you hear the Psalmist in the bible, King David, saying, ‘ my soul waited for the Lord ‘, this is basically because he knew he would miss it without God’s direction.
We wait upon the Lord, in worship, prayer, fasting, spending time in his presence. As you stay in his presence, he causes his bright light to shine in your spirit, and you will be sure of what God is saying to you.
Fasting and prayer is an integral part of our Christian life, as we fast and pray again today, wait upon the Lord for clear guidance on the issues around your life and family. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* Give me Lord, clear instructions about issues in and around my life in Jesus name.
