Topic: THE FATHER’S LOVE….Part2
Text: 1 John 3:1 KJV

1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

God’s love is what can be described as the father’s love. Even though we are his subjects and the works of his hand, we could be regarded as mere creatures of the creator but God loves makes the great deal of difference. His love transforms us and change our status before God, before his angels, before the devil and before the world.

One of the great things that the Father’s love has done to us is a great transformation from slavery to friendship. We were slaves to sin, and under the bondage of death. Satan captivated us and rule over our lives in fear, sorrows, pains and sicknesses but God’s love took all that away, He took away our sins, our sorrows, our pains, our fears and sicknesses and translates us into his kingdom. He made us friends of his dear son and no longer slaves. He transforms us from the kingdom of darkness into his kingdom of light, he took away our old lives of bondage and give us a new life of freedom in Christ Jesus.

Dear reader, you cannot appreciate this message nor understand except you have or are willing to experience this great transformation of life. But let me take your through scriptural examples, and they are Jesus disciples.

None of Jesus’ disciples had a pleasant life before they met with Jesus. Some of them like Simon Peter was a failure in business, some like Matthew were tax collectors exploiting other people of their livelihood, several were not useful to themselves, their family and their nation, some were fearful and could not lift their heads in the midst of others, I mean they were nobody to be reckoned with but when they met Jesus and they became his friends, an unprecedented transformation took place in all their lives. The fearful became bold preaching in the public and 3000 souls were saved, the failure became successful, the tax collectors became soul winners, they all became a force to be reckoned with, they became a people that cannot be ignored nor their words considered irrelevant. They became the apostles of faith and spread the gospel to several nations of the world, oh what a great turnaround. In John 15:14-15 Jesus addressed them all as friends and no longer servants or slaves

“Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”

Beloved, I tell you the truth, that the Father’s Love is the greatest, transforming and giving meaning to a meaningless life. You know what, it is better experienced and than been spoken off. And so if the disciples can, if I can, then you too can experience the Father’s love. All you need do is surrender your life to Jesus Christ today, forsake your sinful ways, ask him to save you from sin, be your Lord and Saviour and ask him that you want to experience his love. * Father, thank you for your love which is the greatest.
* Father, help those who have not experience you love to do so today in Jesus Name
