Topic: LIFE’S LIGHT. part 2.
Text : John 1:4,5.
4: In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5: And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Jesus came to give us a light giving life, in other words, a bright life, a glorious life, abundant life. In John 10:10 he said, ‘ The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). Amplified.
Darkness comes around this life, but there is supply of light in its brightness to extinct any kind of darkness.
Right understanding of the scriptures leaves us with little or no worries about life. From verse 5 we understand that darkness can’t comprehend the brightness of the light in you, this is practicable if only you understand the mystery I am sharing here.
This is like you sending your child to bring something from a dark room with lamp in its brightness, it will be fun to the child because darkness disappears as he or she moves. As you move on in life your darkness disappears.
God has not brought us into this world for us to be discouraged or discomforted, he is not the one who brought problems into this world, Adam introduced us to this world of darkness while Christ came to give us this light giving life.
Your troubles are reflections of darkness emanating from the fact that we are in a dark world, where we search answers to so many things, but God has made provision for our light to outshine the darkness.
Let me give you an example you can relate with; how many times have you been in trouble that you don’t know how to get out of it, but you just discovered that you’re out of it when you thought it will aggravate? What simply happened is that as you move towards the problem solution showed up just as darkness disappears as light shows up.
I wish you get the insight I am getting within me, let me stop here by saying this; God has made available in you sufficient light to extinct your darkness, in this context darkness denotes confusion, worries, anxieties, and all kind of problems, while light is basically the solution to all of them.
Jesus is full of light, in fact, he is the light himself, as you move closer to him each day his brightness will rob off on you, and when problem comes solution shows up immediately.
Please understand that light takes it glory in darkness not in the light, your testimony comes after your trials, triumph after troubles, trophy after a tournament. You will testify in Jesus name. God bless you.

* Lord, let my light shine in its brightness in Jesus name.
