PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
4th May 2020.
Topic: DIVINE LEADING
Text : Psalms 23:1.
1: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
The shepherd is obliged to provide food for his flock, just as parents are obliged to provide food for their children.
Just as the shepherd leads his flock to green pasture so also is God committed to leading us to where our blessings are.
Sometimes while trusting God for a need, we feel like we are neglected while God has made provisions unknown for us. Sometimes he meets our needs by sending someone to us, at other times he leads us to someone or lead us to do something.
God is always making provisions for us, but our inability to understand his leading most times leaves us stranded. How do I know that he makes provisions for us always? Psalms 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.
Everyone who will not miss this divine provisions must wholeheartedly cherish divine instructions, if the provision is divine we can only get it by divine instruction. This is what the Psalmist meant when he said, ‘ the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want ‘, if he is the one leading me he will always make provisions. Please note that the phrase ‘ my shepherd ‘, means I have surrendered all to him, he controls my movement, I hear from him before I act.
See how Moses related with God in Exodus 33:15 Then Moses said, “If you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place..”. Amplified. That’s the leading, no wonder everything obeyed Moses even the red Sea, he got water from the rock, meat from heaven, light in the night without generator or electricity.
It is God’s responsibility to lead us, it is our responsibility to follow, as we do this he meets our needs always. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* Help me Lord to understand your leading.
