Topic: THE CRY OF THE RIGHTEOUS…Part 2
Text: Psalms 34:17KJV
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
In part one, we discussed that God always hear cries especially when it’s a cry of repentance and a cry from his people. Today we want to discuss three things that will happen when the righteous cry unto God.
* God will hear: God does not reject nor turn deaf ears to the cry of the righteous, he did promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 that he will give hears from heaven unto their cry.
“If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray…..then will I hear from heaven, and ……..”
Like the saying goes if there is a man to pray, then there is a God to hear.
* God will show Mercy: The whole is at a state of confusion, that the powerful had suddenly become powerless, and the wise had discovered there wisdom is greatly limited. It is a time that the currency needed by the world to survive this critical time is God’s mercy. When the righteous cry unto God for mercy, he will show mercy because he is rich in mercy (Ephesians 2:4)
* God will wipe away their tears: The Lord will wipe away the tears of the righteous, he did it to the people of Nineveh. I pray as we cry unto God, he will wipe away the tears in our nations in Jesus Name.
PRAYER: We cry unto you for mercy upon our nations in Jesus Name
