25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
In part three, we discussed another device of the devil that we must not be ignorant of as believers, that devil plant tares per wheat crop, and we also discussed two reasons the enemy did so which were because he knew he has a short time and there is no second chance.
Today we want to consider another reason devil plant many tare weeds per wheat crop:
* He does not want the tares to be easily uprooted: The enemy knew that if he sowed a tare per wheat crop it could be easily uprooted without damaging the wheat, but planting many tares reduces the chance of the tares been easily uprooted without damaging the wheat. This a strategy of the devil that we should not be ignorant of, when you give a space to the enemy he sows many seeds of evil capable of causing many distractions and difficult to deal with at a time.
* He does not want the wheat to survive at all: The enemy knew the tare would grow sharing the nutrient with which the wheat was meant to grow. So planting more tares against a wheat crop will certainly reduce the nurishment of the wheat and the chance for the wheat to survive. This account for why many Christians struggle with their spiritual lives because the enemy has load their lives with many tares that choke up their spiritual live. Don’t be ignorant of this. * Father, let every tares choking up by spiritual life be uprooted by fire in Jesus Name.
