Text: Matthew 13: 26-30KJV

25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

In part two, we discussed that the enemy choose tares among the classes of weeds because of its similar resemblance with the wheat crop at the early stages of growth.

Today we want to continue in our discussion on this satanic strategy planting of tares among the wheat. Another device of the devil that we must not be ignorant of as believers is that devil plant tares (many seeds of weeds) per wheat crop (one or few crop stand). So the devil often make sure to deposit more than one seeds of tares per seed of wheat, why does he do that:

* There is no second chance: The enemy knows he might not have another opportunity, and so he works with the mindset that there is no second chance or time for him to come back to plant more tares. In other words the enemy maximises that single loop hole that man has given him to have slept (instead of being awake), and so he ensures he desposits many seeds of destruction because he knows there might not be another opportunity. No wonder Ephesians 4:27 admonishes that

neither give place to the devil,

meaning don’t give him a single chance or space at all, because that alone is enough for him to utterly destroy such life without a need for a second chance

* His time is Short: Another reason why the enemy plants many tares per wheat is because he know he has a short time, yet he wants to accomplish much task within that short time. The devil is not omni-present like our God, and so he can only be in one place at a time and that’s why scripture puts it in the text above saying

“…enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way”,

so the enemy went his way (possibly going on another mission), he did not stay because his time is short.

Dearly beloved, let’s not be ignorant of these satanic strategies for which many lives have been destroyed and are being destroyed. I pray you will not be a victim of these satanic stategies in Jesus Name. But then BEWARE… God bless you.

* Father, I will not be a victim of any satanic devices in Jesus Name.
