Topic: IT’S THE LORD’S GLORY….Part 4
Text: Psalms 3:1-8KJV

1 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. 2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill.

In part three, we emphasized that God desires to take glory over a man’s life and that all glory belongs to God irrespective of the circumstances and not to the devil nor to any man.

Today we want to discuss how to ascribe the glory to God.

It is important you understand that God is the supreme and he does whatsoever pleases him. He can decide to glorify himself in situations and circumstances without the consent or action of any man, but many times he allows men to decide who take the glory over their lives, and in such instances where men do not ascribe the glory to God, he will be silent and won’t interfare until he is called upon to intervene or to deliver.

Beloved, if you don’t ascribe the glory to God, devil certainly will, even when you do not invite him, and so you need to make conscious effort to ensure that God takes all the glory. How do you do that:

* Give No Room for the Devil: Life usually comes with challenges, some of which are ochestrated by the devil to cause sorrow and hinders a man’s joy in order to glorify himself. In such circumstance, despite that the situation is ugly, don’t give room for the devil to glorify himself, don’t position yourself as helpless person filled with sorrow and sadness, rather shut the devil out, silent his plans and plots for your life, challenge him in prayer and with the word of God that he has no right over your life and he has no place in your life. Ephesians 4:27 says it all

Neither give place to the devil.

It means leave no room, space, or opportunity for the devil to take glory in your life.

* Enthrone God: God is the maker of man, but gives man a choice to choose whom he will serve. Beloved, for God to take glory you must consciously enthrone him and make him the Lord over your life, over every areas of your life and over everything you experience in life. You need to consciously declare to God that he is in charge, that he is the captain of your ship and that he should come and take all the glory over your life. You have got to call on Him just as the scripture says in Romans 10:13

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

God bless you

* Father, take all the glory over my life and silent the works of darkness in my life in Jesus Name.

Genesis 24, 1 Corinthians 10.
