Topic: IT’S THE LORD’S GLORY….Part 3
Text: Psalms 3:1-8KJV

1 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. 2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill.

In part two, we said that devil also likes to take glory of the lives of men even when he knows that the glory is not his.

Today we want to emphasize that all glory belongs to God. God desires to take glory of everything in a man’s life, he does not want to share his glory with any man, that is the glory that is due to God should not be ascribed to man or devil nor shared between God, man and the devil.

It does not matter how ugly the situation or circumstance is, God still want his name to be glorified, because he has the power to make all things beautiful in his time. According to 1 Samuel 2:8

God can raise up the poor out of the dust, and lift up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory.

So he can turn things around to glorify his name and show his greatness.

In John 9, there was the story of man who was born blind, a critical situation that can be termed hopeless and the discples of Jesus asked why it was so, whether it was the man’s sin or his parents’ sin that made him to be born blind, but Jesus replied that it was neither his sin nor his parents’ but that the name of God might be glorified, and indeed God glorify himself giving sight and hope to that hopeless man. Beloved, whatever situation you go through in life, irrespective of how unpleasant it may be, God’s name can be glorified if only you can ascribe the glory to him asking him show his greatness and glorify himself. God bless you.

* Father, all glory, honour and adoration is your, please take all the glory over my life in Jesus Name.
