Topic: CORONAVIRUS: COVERAGE AND CURE.
Text: Numbers 21: 6-9.
6: Then the Lord sent fiery (burning) serpents among the people; and they bit the people, and many Israelites died.
7: And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord, that He may take away the serpents from us. So Moses prayed for the people.
8:And the Lord said to Moses, Make a fiery serpent [of bronze] and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.
9: And Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it on a pole, and if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the serpent of bronze [attentively, expectantly, with a steady and absorbing gaze], he lived.
Let me start by saying there is no kind of event that has not been recorded in the Bible. Our passage records an event that is similar to Coronavirus, many Israelites died and while others lived, those who lived did not live by chance, but obeying divine instruction.
It is important you know that obeying divine instruction brings divine intervention. Those who will be covered at this time are those who will obey divine instructions. First of all, God has humbled the whole world through this virus, everyone now looks to God as help can’t come from any man or any country.
The first point is this: the fear of God is the beginning freedom from Coronavirus, this is the time to seek God like never before, science and technology have failed in solving the problem. Nobody needs to be told to seek God now, everyone needs to draw closer God.
The second point is obeying specific divine instructions just as Moses was told by God to make a bronze snake so, God will be giving some instructions to his men to save his people at this time. You must understand that God save his people through his men and he does that by giving specific divine instructions. Please note that you must not do anything that is not scriptural, don’t let fake people disguising as pastors mislead you.
Your pastor can lead you to take communion and hold prayer sessions. God is prepared to shield his people at this time but strictly those who will obey divine instructions.
Let me quickly say that having access to divine instructions is a rear privilege, if you have a pastor who can hear God, appreciate God for him and thank God for giving you such a man. God will be sending messages to save his people as he instructed the Israelites through Moses to put blood of lamb at their door posts.
