Topic: ABRAHAM’S GENE
Text: Genesis 12:1-3.
1: Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Abraham was not the first man, and was not the first person to walk with God. When God made Adam and Eve he blessed them with the Prophetic word of fruitfulness and multiplication. Adam should automatically be the father of many nations.
In Genesis 9:1 God gave the same prophetic word to Noah and his sons after he destroyed the Earth with water, but yet Noah wasn’t called the father of nations.
God was satisfied in Abraham and he declared him the father of nations. My assignment is to answer the question ‘ what qualified Abraham to be the father of nations?
Look at this scriptures: Romans 4:11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: 12: And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.13: For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
We see in the above passage that Abraham became the father of nations by faith and we became is children by faith. We are connected to Abraham by the gene called FAITH. Our relationship with God links us with the blessings God packaged in Abraham by the genetics of faith.
It therefore means that everyone who serves God by faith is of the seed of Abraham and an heir to the promise God made with Abraham. It also means that application of faith in our daily living brings us under the Abrahamic covenant and blessings.
Faith remains the pillar of our relationship with God, Abraham remains our father as God pronounced him to be father of nations while Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law that the blessings of Abraham might come upon us Galatians 3:13,14.
As we wait upon the Lord today, I want you to approach his throne by faith to get your needs met. God bless you.
PRAYER.
* I receive my desired miracles by faith in Jesus name.
