Topic: CONNECTED TO ABRAHAM.
Text: Galatians 3:13,14,29.

13: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
29: And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

I will be taking a series; exposition on the life of Abraham and his seed, why is this necessary? This is because God made him the father of nations. Physically, we all came through Adam, but since Adam died by eating the forbidden fruit Abraham became our father, how do I know? Isaiah 51:1,2 Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

Everyone who seeks God is rebirthed by covenant in Abraham. I just want to make 2 points here: God puts the blessings of the world in Abraham both believers and unbelievers, look at it here; Genesis 28:14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Please note the phrase ‘ all the families of the world ‘.

The second point is that as Abraham was blessed in all his endeavors so are we blessed. According Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. This means that as father Abraham was blessed you’re also so blessed. Curses of poverty and suffering are broken by the covenant God made with Abraham of which you’re part once you give your life to Christ. God bless you.
