Topic: ENCOUNTER WITH GOD…part 3.
Text : Revelation 1:10.
10: I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet.
The focus here is how to attract the word that will bring a turn around in your life. Apostle John was the one who wrote the book of revelation, in chapter 1 of the book he told us the Genesis of the revelations he saw, it all started by waiting upon the Lord.
The statement, ‘ I was in the spirit on the Lord’s day ‘ means waiting upon the Lord, I don’t want to be tempted to share about the spirit here, I just want to say that that is the way to get YOUR WORD released.
It was in the place of waiting that he heard the voice of the Lord, God is everywhere, but he doesn’t speak everywhere, everyone who cares to hear his voice waits upon him in the place of prayer.
Waiting upon the Lord in prayer and sometimes fasting is sending your words to heaven, heaven will respond by sending a word that will transform your life.
Hannah was another character that waited upon the Lord in the Bible God sent HER WORD through prophet Eli. When your words are heard in on high, you will receive response from on high.
When I say WORD it doesn’t really me that you will hear an audible voice from heaven, but definitely there will be a release of the word that will effect a turn around in your life.
As we stay with God he send his word either through personal study of the Bible or send one of his men to us, your assignment is to wait upon him.
Getting his word into your life is the best thing that can happen to you. It takes commitment to stay and wait for his voice.
Be ready for the power that comes through his word as you wait on him, the power will crush every negative thing around your life. God bless you.
